Since the previous record high for Sensex on 20th January, 13 stocks have more than doubled.
NEW DELHI: After 10 months and 202 sessions, during which we saw multi-year lows for many securities and the biggest wealth destruction on Dalal Street in over a decade, benchmark indices hit fresh highs on Monday.The 30-share pack BSE Sensex climbed to a fresh high of 42,566.34 during the day as Joe Biden became the President-elect in the US. NSE Nifty also hit a fresh record high of 12,451.80. Both indices had hit their previous record high in mid-January.From the lows of March 23, Nifty is up nearly 66 per cent while Sensex has also gained by a similar quantum.
