COVID-19 is a serious virus, but is often tried to be controlled the wrong way.
While in school, children always get seasonal allergies and mild colds. It’s their parents’ responsibility to make sure their kids are not sick and don’t go to school sick.

But for a teacher now to send a child home from school for a runny nose or a sneeze is just ridiculous.
Yes, the child could have COVID-19, but the thing is if we send every kid home that has a runny nose then no one is going to be in school. Testing centres are just going to be overcrowded and they shouldn’t be for kids with a runny nose.
I understand if a child is actually sick, but an extremely mild symptom of any kind…
