The Duchess of Cambridge, 38, visited the Old English Garden in Battersea Park. Earlier on Tuesday, Kate held a video call with eight organisations supporting families to discuss their work and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The 38-year-old later went to the park where she met mothers from the groups. One mother told how Kate revealed why she did not bring two-year-old Louis along. Christine Thatai said: “She didn’t bring Louis along as there was a fountain where we met, and he would have been in the fountain, splashing around making a big racket.” During her visit to the park, Kate heard how peer groups could not meet in person during the lockdown but kept up their work remotely.
