Israeli News – Israeli police say they ‘neutralized’ a man after allegedly attempting to stab him in the Old City, after allegedly trying to attack the raid on the old city of East Jerusalem A Palestinian man in possession is shot by Israeli forces. Israeli security guards shot the man, who was later pronounced dead at the scene near the entrance to Baba Hatta, outside the Al Aqsa Mosque complex.
Officers rushed to hospital in mild condition
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a brief statement that its teams were prevented from entering the area around Baba Hatta to treat the man when he succumbed to his wounds. The Palestinian was identified as a 30-year-old man from the Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem. The man was “neutralized”, Israeli police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld wrote on Twitter. “Officers were taken to the hospital in a minor condition,” he said.
Was on the way to school with special needs
Hours after the incident, Israeli security guards shot and wounded a deaf Palestinian who was not able to hear the order to capture the West Bank outpost. In late May, Israeli police shot an unarmed 32-year-old Palestinian with severe autism, on his way to his special needs school in Jerusalem’s Old City.
