A new coronavirus symptom to look out for has been issued by medical experts – with doctors warning abdominal pain could be a key sign.
The warning comes after a 37-year-old nurse in Queensland discovered he had the virus after experiencing abdominal pain.
Deputy Premier and Health Minister Steven Miles said: “He identified he had abdominal pain, not normally considered a symptom of Covid-19, but he was incredibly wise and he identified that that was a symptom that could be from Covid-19.
“He went and got tested and that test came back positive.”
Currently, the NHS only lists three coronavirus symptoms – a high temperature, a new continuous cough, and a loss of your sense of smell or taste.
